Go Unbridled wins $100,000 Saratoga Dew

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (AP) — Go Unbridled rallied to grab the lead near the sixteenth pole and ran on to a 612-length victory in the $100,000 Saratoga Dew Stakes for fillies and mares Monday at Saratoga Race Course.

Junior Alvarado rode the 5-year-old, Allen Jerkens-trained Go Unbridled, who raced with blinkers off and ran 1 1/8 miles in 1:49.90 for her first victory in six starts this year. She earned $60,000 for owner Howard T. Whitbred and paid $12.20, $5 and $3. Opus A, the favorite, returned $3 and $2.50. Ginger Snapit, third of six, paid $3.60 to show.
