HALLANDALE, Fla. (AP) — Mystic Love won the $100,000 Dania Beach Stakes for 2-year-olds on Saturday at Gulfstream Park, beating Charming Kitten by a half-length.
Mystic Love, the Maryland-bred filly ridden by Elvis Trujillo and trained by Jessica Campitelli, ran a mile on the turf course in 1:38.81 and paid $34, $11.40 and $6.80 for her third victory in four career starts.
Charming Kitten returned $3.60 and $3, and Newfound Zapper paid $3.80 to show.
