Opening Move takes Big A feature

NEW YORK (AP) — Opening Move remained unbeaten in two starts over Aqueduct’s winterized inner track, beating Quick Money by 212 lengths on Wednesday in the $62,000 allowance feature.

The 4-year-old colt trained by Kiaran McLaughlin is winless in five races on other surfaces. Apprentice rider Irad Ortiz, Jr. was aboard as the 9-1 shot ran the six furlongs in 1:10.20, paying $20.80, $9.40 and $3.

Quick Money, longest price on the board at 16-1, returned $18.40 and $4.90 while Black Pen, $2.10, rallied to get third as the 3-5 favorite.
