A collision between a big rig and a passenger car blocked the right lane of the southbound Interstate 5 Bridge on Wednesday afternoon.

The Washington Department of Transportation helped direct traffic while troopers with the Washington State Patrol investigated the accident, said Trooper Will Finn, spokesman for the State Patrol.

The accident occurred around 2:55 p.m. and there are no known injuries to either driver. Cars were getting by in the left two lanes, backing up traffic to Mill Plain Boulevard before the accident was cleared.
