A Vancouver woman was hospitalized Friday when a car and motorcycle collided on state Highway 500 at Northeast 112th Avenue, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Christina V. Labrum, 35, was a passenger on a 2008 Honda CBR1000 motorcycle being driven east on the highway by Mark A. Labrum, 40, of Vancouver when he attempted to make a lane change to the right just as Arvonn M. Tully, 36, of Vancouver attempted a lane change to the left in a 2007 Volkswagen Passat, a WSP bulletin said.

Both Mark and Christina Labrum were injured in the 6:30 p.m. crash, but only Christina Labrum was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center and reported in satisfactory condition late Friday night. Tully was not injured.

The WSP bulletin said the crash was caused by inattention and said Mark Labrum will face a charge of driving while suspended.
