Quarterback Kevin Aguirre ran for two touchdowns and finished with 76 rushing yards, while Lukas Daniel added another score. Aguirre also completed seven of his nine pass attempts for 93 yards.

Mark Morris scored with three minutes left in the game and missed the two-point conversions by inches. Down by eight, the Monarchs forced a fumble inside their own red zone.

Led by quarterback Will Burghardt, the team vied for a late fourth quarter comeback. However, with 30 seconds left, Eric Creamer intercepted an errant pass on fourth-and-14 to seal the victory for the Falcons.
