Hockinson and La Center both returned to the Top 10 of their respective classifications for the first time since Week 3 of the season in the season’s final Associated Press state media prep football rankings released Wednesday.

Hockinson (6-2) came in at No. 10 in Class 2A after beating Washougal for its sixth win in a row. Ridgefield (9-0) remained at No. 2 in the 2A rankings.

La Center (6-2) won its fourth in a row by beating Castle Rock for the Trico League title. That helped the Wildcats come in at No. 9 in the 1A rankings.

Camas (5-4) moved up two sports to No. 10 in the 4A rankings after capturing the 4A Greater St. Helens League title with a 17-7 win over Union.

Kalama’s 40-0 win over South Umpqua from Oregon was not enough to move the Chinooks (8-0) any higher in the 2B rankings. Kalama remained at No. 2 behind Napavine.
