A single-vehicle crash just before noon Saturday on Northeast 172nd Avenue near Hockinson Meadows Community Park has left the 17-year-old driver dead and sent a passenger to the hospital.

Deputies from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, along with ambulance and Fire District 3 personnel, were called to the 11200 block of Northeast 172nd Avenue, near Northeast 119th Street, at 11:57 a.m. First responders arrived to find a 1998 Chevrolet S10 pickup off the roadway.
