The Columbian reported recently that 50 firefighters in Clark County made more than $100,000 last year with one as high as $165,000 a year. And that doesn't include benefits and pension. I'm thinking:

These folks are at the ready to save our lives. Whatever we pay them, it isn't enough. 27% 356 votes

Most of their calls have nothing to do with fighting a fire. They get paid to wait for a call. Where do I sign up? 27% 361 votes
