Girls basketball: Hockinson 55, Astoria (Ore.) 34

The Hawks used a 25-point third quarter to seal the victory on the Oregon coast at the Dulcich Tournament.

Payton Wangler and Grace Russell each hit two 3-pointers in the period. The Hawks ended up with five 3-pointers in the quarter.

Wangler and Russell each finished with 15 points, as well.

Elyse Fisher came off the bench to add nine points to go with five steals.

Trinity Paulsen and Brittany McGuire each had six rebounds for the Hawks.

Hockinson will take on North Marion at 6:45 p.m. Thursday in the championship game.
