Hockinson, La Center, Skyview each move up one spot in AP state football polls

Hockinson, La Center and Skyview each climbed one more spot in the Week 8 release of the Associated Press media state football polls released Wednesday.

Hockinson moved up to No. 2 in the Class 2A rankings, the Hawks’ highest ranking since falling out of the top spot after a Week 2 loss to Archbishop Murphy.

La Center, which was idle last week, moved up one spot to No. 6 in the 1A rankings.

Skyview moved up one spot to No. 9 in the 4A rankings, while Camas held at No. 3.

Mountain View dropped out of the top 10 in 3A.
