Vancouver man dies in car crash on I-5

Crash was caused by a medical problem, police said

A Vancouver man died Sunday morning in a vehicle crash that police say was caused by a medical problem.

Scott H. Richards, 44, was driving a gray 2014 Dodge Charger south on Interstate 5 near Evergreen Boulevard when the car veered right and into an embankment, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The crash occurred at about 4:30 a.m. No other vehicles were involved.
