A pile driver shoves a log into the ground as part of a logjam structure built on the Columbia River near the Port of Kalama in October. The Lower Columbia Fish Enhancement Group took on the job as a mitigation project for Kalama Export Company — a continuing trend as public grant funds become more uncertain.
