Battle Ground Mayor Lisa Walters, left, and Deputy Mayor Shane Bowman, right, and his son Trey Bowman, 12, examine a globe with Laureano Mier, manager of the Pearson Air Museum, and Tina Esch, Vancouver, president of Am/Ru International Association. It’s a replica of a globe signed by about 80 explorers and fliers. The actual globe will be here for the 75th anniversary of the Chkalov flight in June.
