Last fall, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers asked the Bonneville Power Administration for better justification in eliminating some alternative routes for its proposed transmission line through Clark and Cowlitz counties. Pictured are power lines near Goldendale that are at capacity because of power being generated by area wind turbines.
