Tibetan monks Lobsang Yeshi, left, and Ngaweng Choegyal use a tiny metal funnel called a "chakpur" Tuesday to create a sand mandala, or sand painting, at Clark College's Cannell Library in Vancouver. A closing ceremony, when the artwork will be destroyed, is set for 3 p.m. Thursday at the library.
