Ava Dalessandro, 3, of Arnold,Mo., tries out the cars Oct. 11 while shopping with her family at Toys R Us in Sunset Hills, Mo. Many retailers are offering holiday shoppers layaway again this year, but Ava's mother, Kayce, won't be taking advantage of the offer. "That's way too much work for me," she said.
