As we rumble through the Holiday shopping season I'm thinking:

I'm going to spend a little more money than I did last year because things are a little better. (12.62% - 107 votes)

What news makes you thankful this holiday?

That the recession is finally moderating (even though unemployment is still high.) (24.19% - 30 votes)

Assuming Larch Corrections Center is closed, what should happen to the site?

It should be mothballed and returned to use as a prison when the budget permits. (41.61% - 57 votes)

What should be done to reduce I-5 Bridge lifts?

Build the long-studied replacement bridge, which also brings many other benefits to Clark County. (34.48% - 50 votes)

Remodel the BNSF railroad bridge so its draw span aligns with the high point on the I-5 Bridge. That will eliminate most lifts. (17.93% - 26 votes)
