Massachusetts family members who lost loved ones on 9/11 place roses at the Garden of Remembrance, a memorial dedicated to the 206 Massachusetts victims of Sept. 11, 2001, during a memorial event in Boston on Monday. The event was held in the wake of news of the death of Osama bin Laden.
