Vancouver resident and University of Oregon alum Terry Williams, left, runs with American running legends Frank Shorter and Steve Prefontaine during a two-mile race in Eugene on May 29, 1975. The race was Prefontaine's last; he died in an auto accident just after midnight on May 30, 1975. This framed photo hangs on the wall in Williams' home.
