The Forest Service is seeking a vendor to reopen the Coldwater Ridge Visitors Center near Mount St. Helens. I'm thinking:

The center should be used as a volcano-themed restaurant and gift shop for day visitors. (36.26% - 62 votes)

To be successful, there needs to be some kind of overnight lodging added at Coldwater or nearby. (43.86% - 75 votes)

Bethany Storro, the woman who threw acid in her face but claimed an unidentified woman did it to her was sentenced after pleading guilty and received no jail time. I'm thinking:

She's a troubled person and medical care not jail time is what is appropriate here. (62.21% - 736 votes)

After deceiving the community like she did, some jail time would have been appropriate. (34.32% - 406 votes)

Good idea. It's a low-cost solution that also adds a little class to the light rail system. (37.85% - 67 votes)

Crime and MAX go together like peanut butter and jelly. If TriMet really wants to deter crime, they should hire more cops. (44.63% - 79 votes)
