A Sunday Columbian story reported that since 2005 pay and benefits for Clark Public Utilities rose 28.4 percent compared to the average workers rise of 14.4 percent. I'm thinking:

It makes sense when you look at the details. They have mostly highly skilled workers and they have let go of lesser skilled workers which drives the increases. (30.69% - 290 votes)

With the county spending an estimated $1.4 million a year on more than 50 task forces, commissions and advisory boards, I'm thinking:
